2017
SNSF Research grant
We thank the Swiss National Research Foundation to support our project on exercise-induced endothelial metabolism and how this can be exploited to promote ischemic revascularization.
Welcome to Ms. Jing Zhang
Jing will study the role of endothelial metabolism during muscle ischemic revascularization.
Welcome to Dr. Tatiane Gorski
Tatiane’s research will focus on the origin and consequences of skeletal muscle fatty infiltration, and on the interaction between skeletal muscle endothelial cells and intramuscular fibro-adipogenic progenitors and adipocytes.
Welcome to Moheb Ghobrial
Moheb will work on metabolism in glioblastoma endothelial cells, a project that is a collaborative effort between Prof. Dr. Katrien De Bock, Laboratory of Exercise and Health, Institute of Movement Sciences, ETH and Thomas Wälchli, MD-PhD Group of CNS Angiogenesis and Neurovascular Link, and Physician-Scientist Program, Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Neuroscience Center Zurich, and Division of Neurosurgery, Univ. Hospital Zurich and D-HEST, ETH Zurich.
Welcome to Gillian Fitzgerald
Welcome to our new doctoral student Gillian Fitzgerald.
